1.) AMAZING LITTLE HEATER

This heater is really fantastic! It mounts on a wall socket in just second, and is removable just as fast. We heat a 16 X 12 three season room with just one of these heaters! They are a little noisy on high, but once the desired temperature is reached you can turn it down to a lower setting, and maintain the rooms temperature with less noise!! I would definetly recommend this heater!!

This little heater is the best thing that has come along in ages. Have had it 3-4 months, it heats the bathroom fast and keeps it nice and toasty. By being on the wall it does not take up room on shelf or floor. Also no tipping over or kicking on the floor. If u don't have an electrical socket close by u do have to have one put in. But eventually u can use that socket for something else in the summer if u wish.

5.) Seabreeze SF12ST Off the Wall ThermaFlo works very well
Reviewed by: Raquel Wellington

I put the Seabreeze SF12ST Off the Wall ThermaFlo in all three of my bedrooms and they've worked wonders. It works so fast in heating up a small area. I just close the bedroom doors and it stays nice and toasty. I would recommend it to anyone who needs to heat up a small area. The only thing I was concerned about was that it's 1500 watts. That's like having 15 lights on in your house at one time, not counting all the other lights and appliances you're using. I was very worried how high my electric bill would rise, but so far my bill has only increased $50.
6.) Still a great buy....

We purchased one of these heaters at least 6 years ago and have loved it. We put ours over an outlet in our large bathroom and it has added extra heat there reliably in all seasons except high summer. I was thrilled to see that it was still being made and ordered three more...two for the bathrooms in our new house and one as a gift for my mother-in-law who loves the quiet, warm convenience of it in her bathroom. The difference is that there are less speeds on the newer ones but since we did not use them all I guess it is no big deal. It is so nice to have a heater safely and easily installed on the wall.
7.) Does what it promises

I had doubts that this heater could keep our bedroom warm
all night, but the gas company wanted $3000 to install a
wall heater. So we gambled on $50+ and installed the
Seabreeze. It took about three minutes to install it and
a couple of nights to find the ideal temperature setting.
Now it quietly holds the room at a comfortable temperature
all night.
This would have received five stars except for the thermostat,
which is a bit temperamental. Sometimes it would turn on the heater immediately after setting it manually to a position which turned it off.
8.) Warm and Fuzzy

The unit does exactly what it's supposed to do. The only things I'd change are it's size; its a little too large. Other than that, it warms the bathroom nicely.
9.) flawed design but worth the purchase
Reviewed by: Sister Cuthbert Cambridge, MA

Designed AND constructed in Canada, where they understand the need for staying warm! The design is brilliant but flawed by the assumption that all proper grounded bathroom 2-plug outlets will fit within their wall-mount box; the standard boxes our electricians installed a few months ago are too big, making it impossible to plug the unit in if you follow their instructions. However, good bathroom heaters are hard to find and it's easy to work around this (and other criticisms of this item): 1. Using the holes indicated on the wall-mount box, screw it into your bathroom wall anywhere within about 3-5 inches above your bathroom outlet (test in advance to be sure the short cord will still reach the outlet). We use 1.5 inch wood screws and happen to know that the wiring doesn't go above our outlet but you might want to adjust location depending on where your wires are in the wall. 2. Don't bother with the "dummy" plastic 3-hole piece they include; that's just to prevent you from accidentally overloading the outlet by using another device when the heater is on. If you need to remind yourself, it might work as a stand-alone dummy plug, or you could cap off the second outlet, or just remember and use common sense.
3. Now just hook the heater onto the wall-mount box. It's quite secure unless you're rough with it. But if you're worried about accidentally knocking it off the box, it is possible to thread a wire or large paper clip between the plastic grill and the mount box (common sense again: do this when everything is unplugged and try to be sure the wire doesn't touch anything inside the heater; and use metal, not anything that's flammable!). The above took about 10 minutes. That's for our bathroom fan; we bought two. The second one works fine in our unheated kitchen, follow the same instructions for screwing wall-mount into the wall wherever you want it, or even can safely stand on its side inside a metal box with some air space at the back in a location where it can't possibly get knocked over. We are the careful types so we simply use a heavy duty (14 gauge or larger--meaning 13-12--and guaranteed to handle 1875 watts: NOT a flimsy or ordinary) extension cord to reach the nearest available grounded plug (again, don't share the plug with other devices when the heater is on). Again, this is 10 minutes work. Result is a beautiful, small, attractive, affordable little heater that is safe, quiet, and Canadian-quality toasty!

14.) Cheap but not well engineered
Reviewed by: Richard K. Harper
Rating:
This is a relatively inexpensive product but is so poorly engineered it was not worth the savings. For example it comes with a PLASTIC mounting bracket that is supposed to lock into a conventional duplex plug receptacle. It is so cheap and flimsy that it barely holds the fan unit in place. If you don't use two hands, one to hold the fan housing and one to switch the unit on, the whole assembly falls of the wall!!!! Buy a stand alone VORTEX unit for a few more bucks.
15.) Wall heater that can't stay on the wall
Reviewed by: Sarah J. Wilkins

The "bracket" to hang this product on the outlet can't hold the weight of the heater. There are no screws/mail/or instructions on any other way to secure this heater on the wall. Therefore it is NOT a wall mounted heater.

Features of Seabreeze Off the Wall ThermaFlo Bathroom Heater
Off the Wall equipped with ThermaFlo is North America's only 1500-watt cord free, outlet mountable heater. This patented heater overcomes weight limitations by using the receptacle's own structure to bear the weight. No tools are required for installation and the bracket can be installed on receptacles, regardless of position of the installation. Off the Wall is a full 1500-watt heater that can deliver 5120 BTU's of heat, the maximum offered by any portable 120-volt heater. When operating in ThermaFlo (1000-watt) mode an auxilliary outlet is available for small appliance use. ThermaFlo technology synchronizes fan speed with heat output. In ThermaFlo mode, Off the Wall is whisper quiet and delivers intense heat while saving energy.
Designed to kick out heat quickly or maintain it efficiently, the Seabreeze Off the Wall ThermaFlo heater has adjustable power and heat settings for customizable comfort. Outfitted with a very short cord for tidy wall installation, the unit has simple dial controls with two speeds (1000 and 1500 watts), a range of heat settings, and the ability to deliver 5120 BTUs of heat. The low speed is quite quiet; the high one whirs audibly, but no louder than most bathroom heaters. You can use the settings sequentially to heat a room then maintain its temperature; you can also keep it on its lowest setting to protect unused rooms from freezing. The unit’s safety features include a cool-touch plastic cabinet and a safety shut-off system to guard against overheating. An auxiliary outlet on one side accommodates small bathroom appliances when the heater is set to low. Measuring 9-1/2 by 8 by 4 inches, this model carries a two-year warranty and comes with the required mounting bracket.
